As an Administrative Assistant, you will perform a variety of administrative clerical office functions. You will be responsible for answering phone calls, composing memos, transcribing notes, filling up applications, responding to emails, paying bills, and making doctor appointments for our clients. Our clients are adults with intellectual disabilities. As part of the job, you would also have to interact with the clients, the direct support personnel, the client’s family members, nursing personnel and physicians working with our clients.
You need to be organized, responsible, with good communication skills and fluent in English. Having legal working status is a must. Experience in healthcare field is preferred, but not mandatory. A degree in social services is preferred, but not mandatory. All applicants must have PC and Mac knowledge, Microsoft Word and Excel proficiency. We offer training.
