DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Previous employment verification
• Conducting of inspections, qualification and set up on drivers, company equipment and contractor's vehicles
• Log book monitoring - call, notify, correct and retrain drivers
• All Pro Transport alerts monitoring
• Distribution of important document to all drivers
• Initial emergency response - minor claims, accidents
• Pro transport complete information input - driver, unit, trailer - activate/deactivate
• Maintaining of good communication with all drivers
• Network fleet speed monitoring and response
• DOT inspection response
• Following accident procedures in case of serious/recordable accident
• Other duties as assigned by Management
WORK EXPERIENCE AND BACKGROUND REQUIREMENTS
• 1+ years of working experience in trucking company (previous experience on safety position is desirable but not essential)
• High school education
• Excellent decision making ability and judgment
• Sharing, positive and energetic team player
• Experience working with outside agencies (State DOT agencies, local government, law enforcement, etc)
• Must have good knowledge of DOT and other agency regulations.
• Demonstrate good understanding of key safety principles in the transportation industry
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) and using the Internet
