Bahto Delo Delo is an authentic Roma (gypsy) group from the village of Clejani in southern Romania, a village famous for its virtuoso Roma musicians. With accordion, Bahto Delo Delo shares the fast and delicate, and slow and soulful melodies of rich Roma music tradition with audiences around the world.
Erkan Ogur’s Telvin Trio has become a legend in international musical circles and has finally recorded its long-awaited album. The double-CD combines elements of contemporary jazz with traditional Turkish themes and showcases each musician’s virtuosity.
The University's first time participation as a venue for Chicago's World Music Festival will take place on Saturday, September 13, 2014 at 7:30 p.m. in the University Auditorium.
