Acest eveniment face parte dintr-o serie de concerte de muzică corală ortodoxă românească prezentate de corul Bisericii Sfântul Andrei pentru a face cunoscuta românilor din diasporă, bogăţia muzicii corale ortodoxe din secolele XIX si XX. Programul va cuprinde compoziţii de Nicolae Lungu, Ion Popescu Runcu, Ioan Şerb, Ioana Ghika Comanesti, Gheorghe Şerbӑnescu şi Francisc Hubic.
Concertul va fi urmat de o masă de post. Intrarea gratuită. Donaţii pentru Biserica Sfântul Andrei sunt aşteptate, binevenite şi apreciate.

Since 2008 the Saint Andrew Orthodox Choral Project focuses on presenting Orthodox Christian music composed between the early 1800’s and the present times. Under the direction of its founder and Music Director Emeritus, Gheorghe Serbanescu, the ensemble presents four concerts each year featuring the best and most creative choral works of Orthodox Music. The concerts are held in the mystic ambiance of a genuine Eastern Orthodox Church built in 1918. This concert will include works by Nicolae Lungu, Ion Popescu Runcu, Ioan Serb, Ioana Ghika Comanesti, Gheorghe Serbanescu and Francisc Hubic.
Admission is free, donations for the Saint Andrew Orthodox Church are appreciated. Following the concert, the audience is invited for a reception in the Church Banquet Hall.
