ROCX is proud to host the Romanian Soiree as part of Alliance Francaise's Festival de la Francophonie. Please join us for a glass of wine and the screening of "The Silent Wedding" (2008) directed by the renowned actor Horatiu Malaele, starring Meda Andreea Victor, Alexandru Potocean and Valentin Teodosiu.
Synopsis: In 1953, the wedding of a young couple continues silently after the whole country is mourning the death of Stalin. The screenplay is based on a true story which took place in a small rural village in Romania.
